SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh invites all the students to participate in the debate “Is Gandhi still relevant in the 21st century?” on October 2, 2020, at 4 p.m. The teachings of Gandhiji is pertinent to the youth of India in the 21st century, guiding them to accomplish their goals, and encouraging them to pursue the path of compassion and kindness. The other notion might be that with the rapidly changing dynamics of the world, and the development of global networks in the modern age, Gandhiji’s philosophy loses its relevance to the youth. On Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, students of SRM AP are urged to discuss and explore the ideologies of Gandhiji and their relevance in the 21st century.
