- Dr. Kerry Healey, President, Babson College, joins SRM AP Board of Governors January 4, 2019
Dr. Kerry Healey took office as President of Babson College in July 2013, following three decades of service in academia, government and humanitarian work in the United States and internationally.
Healey is the thirteenth president of Babson College and the first woman to hold that position. Under her leadership, Babson has strengthened its reputation as the recognized global leader in entrepreneurship education, consistently ranked the No. 1 undergraduate school and No. 1 MBA program for entrepreneurship, and No. 1 for international students.

SRM AP’s engineering curriculum (through an exclusive agreement with MITx to access latest material on the edX edge platform) builds on basic MITx courses that include Computer Science and Programing; Mathematics, Calculus, Introduction to Classical Mechanics, Circuits and Electronics and Computation Structures. To ensure the effective delivery of these courses (that include lecture videos and notes, practice problems, and exam materials) MIT conducts annual design camps through its office of digital learning.

- New cell culture facility launched at SRM AP campus December 13, 2018
SRM AP Monday launched its first cell culture facility at its campus here to pioneer bio-medical research on cancer cells.
This facility will house the latest equipment related to applications like cellular culture, drug delivery, cell imaging and cell cytotoxicity, a university release said.
The Union Department of Science and Technology funded the equipment like Type-2 bio safety cabinet, carbon dioxide incubators, cell counting machine, inverted and upright microscopes, table-top centrifuge and cell storage facility under the ‘Early Career Research Award’ grant.- Cell culture facility opened at SRM-A.P. SRM University-Andhra Pradesh has launched its first New Cell Culture facility on its premises in Amaravati to pioneer bio-medical research on cancer cells. This facility will house the latest equipment required for cellular culture, drug delivery, cell imaging and cell cytotoxicity.
Anil K. Suresh, principal investigator of the laboratory and an associate professor at the Department of Biotechnology, spearheaded the acquisition of equipment such as Type 2 biosafety cabinet, CO2 incubators, cell counting machine, inverted and upright microscopes, table-top centrifuge, – 20 and 4 degree refrigerators and cell storage facility.
