December 11, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Directorate of Student Affairs organised ‘Bharatiya Bhasha Divas’ on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chinnaswami Subramania Bharati, a renowned Tamil writer, poet, journalist, Indian independence activist, social reformer, and polyglot. The event aimed to celebrate and promote the linguistic diversity of India, and it was a mesmerising spectacle that left a lasting impact on all who attended.

Bharatiya Bhasha Divas, transcended mere observance. The event symbolised a collaborative effort to celebrate and promote the diversity of languages. The event was thoughtfully curated with the intention of introducing students to the beauty and importance of Indian languages.

The sound of different languages echoed throughout the Grand Stairs of the Vikram Sarabhai Block, serving as a testament to the linguistic opulence that graces the Indian subcontinent. The event assumed the mantle of a catalyst, igniting a collective consciousness and prompting initiatives aimed at fortifying language education and fostering multilingual communication.

The impact of the celebration resonated far beyond the confines of the event itself. It served as a clarion call, kindling a zeal among students to embark on a journey of linguistic exploration and cultural immersion.
