13 students from SRM AP completed the Semester Abroad program at UC Berkeley, California capping a spectacular season of programs like ETH Denver (the world’s biggest Ethereum Blockchain Hackathon and Conference; TensorFlow Development Summit (the largest event for all the Machine Learning users); and GDC 2019 (the biggest gaming conference in San Francisco.
Students took home over 20 top prizes at leading Hackathons – the Developer Week Hackathon in San Francisco, SF Hacks in San Francisco State University, LA Hacks in University of California Los Angeles, Minerva Hackathon in GitHub Headquarter and the AT&T Shape Hackathon in Los Angeles.
In another distinction and example of learning beyond classrooms, SRM AP teams qualified for the Collider Cup, the annual event of Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET) at UC Berkeley.
Also, students got to join some of UC Berkeley’s best known clubs on Machine learning VR and Robotics. Plans are underway to compete at TIECON 2019, the world’s largest entrepreneurship conference.
