September 28-30, 2018, Aditya Engineering College, Rajahmundry: Gaming judges Koushik Bhargav from SRM CSE and Joel Partanen of KAMK picked a Gurgaon team’s space themed game for the top prize at the first ever ‘Indian Game Summit Hackathon’ in India. The event was organised by the KAMK University Finland and APSSDC.
Koushik met up with more than 50 national teams and was convinced of a revolution in the market dynamics of the gaming industry, “Where India boasts a huge network of gamers only a few are excelling in game development. Students interested in this should be supported as there is a sea of opportunities waiting for them right here in our country.” Koushik pointed out that even E-sports are now part of the Asian games and soon the pool of opportunities will be even bigger.
