Environmental Science and Engineering is a multidisciplinary field that incorporates principles from environmental science, engineering, biology, chemistry, and mathematics to address complex environmental challenges. We focus on creating practical solutions and management approaches to safeguard our well-being and the environment. In our department, we recognize the critical role that science and engineering play in addressing the pressing environmental challenges of our time. Our mission is to lead the way in research, education, and innovation that promotes a sustainable future for our planet. Our department is proud to boast a team of experienced faculty members who are at the forefront of research and innovation and are here to support and guide students in their academic journey and will provide the knowledge and mentorship to excel. We are offering an MSc Programme in Environmental Science which focuses on sustainable development and a PhD programme in Environmental Science with a broad spectrum of specialisations, including Biogeochemistry, Sustainable Applications, Process Design & System Analysis, Resource Recovery from Urban Wastes, and Solid Waste Management. Apart from that we are providing Environmental Science as a value-added course to all undergraduates.
