Previous research work includes Applications of Genetic algorithms and Fuzzy modelling in the areas of Electrical distribution systems, Wireless sensor networks and Distributed systems. I have developed new algorithms for Electrical network reconfiguration to minimise losses and Load flow solution.
Another application is to minimize the power consumption in WSN. Another application is Fault detection in Distributed systems.
Future research planned: application of Evolutionary programming in
Green Cloud computing: Green cloud computing solutions aims to not only save energy, but also reduce operational costs.
Data Placement strategy in Distributed Systems
EP in Big Data: EP looks promising in three aspects of the Big Data problem which are feature selection, instance selection and handling missing values.
