‘Women are a Superpower’: International Women’s Day Celebrations

To celebrate the power in you, SRM University-AP is organising “AADHYA’23” on International Women’s Day from March 07-13, 2023. The week-long celebration aims at empowering women in society and includes a Free Health Camp organised by the Health Centre & NSS team in association with AIIMS, Mangalagiri and IGCAR, Kalpakkam for all women faculty and staff of SRM University-AP as well as in the surrounding villages at Neerukonda, Kuragallu & Nidamarru. Smt. P V Ratnam, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (crimes), Vijayawada; Dr Menaka, Head, RAMS, RESD SQRMG, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, are the chief guests of the inaugural ceremony. Social and cultural programmes will be conducted by The Directorate of HR and Student Affairs to raise awareness and empower and embrace equity among women.
