Celebrate International Students’ Day through art and entertainment!
November 17, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
Cultural diversity is a principal binding agent for an interdisciplinary education system as well as a greater need for humanity. An academic institution is a collective whole that encompasses a community marked with differences in culture, traditions, ideals etc. The celebration of these differences would further strengthen the bond of our collective presence as a global community. The Department of International Relations and Higher Studies celebrates the International Students’ Day on November 17, 2022 to promote and embrace the culturally diverse academe and presents them an open platform to rejoice their traditions, artforms, culture etc.
This cultural initiative reflects on the university’s true commitment to encourage diversity in the academy and to recolour student’s perception with a wider cultural perspective. The celebration will feature a wide array of local and international music, traditional dance performance from our international students, cultural and traditional presentations of artforms from around the world and an engaging Nukkad Natak drama, a joint performance by our Indian and international students. The event will be inaugurated by Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof Manoj K Arora. Dr P Naga swetha, Associate Director of IR & HS, will provide an introduction to the Department of International Relations and Higher Studies.
All faculty, students, and staff are invited to join in this celebration of cultures through art and entertainment!
