Invoke an industrial perspective on FWD analysis of flexible pavements

The Department of Civil Engineering is organising the third Industry Guest Lecture on Transportation Engineering on December 09, 2022. The guest lecture will focus on the topic, “Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) Analysis of Flexible Pavements: Industry Perspectives”. Mr Amarjeet Tiwari, Pavement Analyst, V R TECHNICHE, Noida, is the keynote speaker of the industry webinar. Mr Amajeeth will provide field insights on the following topics with his real-time project experience: FWD Introduction, Survey Guidelines as per IRC 115: 2014, Inputs to KGPBACK, Temp and Seasonal Correction, and Effect of variation in inputs parameter on the remaining life.
About the speaker
Mr Amarjeet Tiwari is currently working as a Pavement Analyst with V R Techniche Consultant Pvt. Ltd., Noida. He has completed his Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV Indore. He has done his Master’s project work under the supervision of Prof. Animesh Das of IITK. He has also worked with Prof. Manik Barman of the University of Minnesota Duluth, USA as a Researcher III.
Mr Amarjeet is an enthusiastic Researcher and pavement engineer. He has a deep understanding of pavement engineering related to its design, materials, analysis, maintenance, rehabilitation, and recycling. He has developed skills in software like ANSYS, IIT PAVE, CIRCLY, KENPAVE, AASHTOWare, KGPBACK, and MnPAVE. His research interests are FEM modelling (flexible and rigid), pavement recycling, pavement deterioration modelling, performance prediction modelling, material characterization, and pavement management systems.
