Industry-Academia Workshop

The Department of Physics is organising an Industry-Academia Workshop on March 24, 2023. The workshop will feature eminent speakers, both in-person and online for a constructive discourse on the pedagogical method and strategies to be implemented for the Master’s programme in the forthcoming academic year. The programme will be initiated with an introductory talk by Honourable ice Chancellor, Prof. Manoj K Arora. The agenda of the programme includes discussions on the MSc Physics curricula and ways to make it suitable for the industry track, discussion on the possibility of industry internships (2-6 months) for the UG and PG students, discussion and interactive session on hurdles and identification of solutions to strengthen the industry-academia collaboration, interaction with faculty members and discussing possibilities for consultancy projects and gathering experts’ opinions about the BTech Engineering Physics programme. The workshop will also include a visit to the Research labs at the university.
