Fostering an Eco-Conscious Generation

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on June 5th to raise awareness of the dire need to combat the global climate and environmental crisis and reinforce the timeless message that Earth is the only habitable planet. The university commemorated World Environment Day through an awareness rally to instil the importance of environmental conservation among the academic community. Prof. D Narayana Rao, Pro-Vice-Chancellor was the chief guest for the event and motivated students and the university to facilitate discussions on ways to combat current environmental challenges and urged for environmental conservation.

The awareness rally was a great success in spreading the message of environmental responsibility and creating a sense of urgency and commitment among the students to protect and sustain our planet for generations to come. The event fostered a sense of responsibility among participants and renewed their commitment to preserving and restoring the environment. The emphasis on sustainable practices prompted students to reflect on their individual roles in environmental protection.
