Dr Satish Anamalamudi, an esteemed Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has recently taken on the position of Assistant Director in the Directorate of Alumni Relations. With more than 12 years of experience and a PhD from the Dalian University of Technology in China, Dr Satish brings a rich depth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. His strong rapport with students and his wider network makes highly deserving of the position.
His professional journey includes serving as a Research Engineer at Huawei Research Lab in Beijing, a Research Assistant in the Networking Lab at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, and an Assistant Professor at Huaiyin Institute of Technology in China. He assumed his role as an Assistant Professor in May 2018, Dr Anamalamudi has dedicated himself to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering since then.
Dr Satish's expertise lies in the realm of designing routing and scheduling protocols for IoT and Cognitive Radio Networks. He is a prolific author and co-author, having contributed to over 65 publications in esteemed journals and conferences such as IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, IEEE ICC, and IEEE ICUFN. Additionally, he holds numerous patents and has guided several students to succeed in attaining their PhDs.
In his new role, Dr Satish will spearhead the efforts of the Directorate of Alumni Relations, striving to cultivate a strong and meaningful relationship with the university's extensive alumni network.
