His background in sports infrastructure, academies, business development, event management, talent identification, project management for multi-sporting events, and government advisory makes him a recognised authority in the field.

Dr Dhiraj's professional journey began with Adani Sportsline Private Limited, where he played an integral role within the team stationed in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Prior to this, he held the esteemed position of Head of the Project Management Unit at the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of Jharkhand, showcasing his commitment to advancing sports at the regional level. His dedication to sports excellence is further evidenced by his involvement as a Doping Official during the Commonwealth Games 2010 in Delhi, underlining his unwavering commitment to the integrity of sports.

Additionally, Dr Dhiraj has been involved in organising and participating in various international and national sports events, such as the Asia Pacific Baseball Tournament, the Softball Tournament in the Philippines, the Kabaddi World Cup, ISL's Delhi Dynomoz, the Pro Kabaddi League, the Indian Boxing League, the International League T20, the Women Premier League, the Kho-Kho League, and the International T20 League in Dubai.

Throughout his career, he led various business verticals under a brand's umbrella, including sports academies, events, auctions, and leagues. His innovative ideas and concepts have led to their successful establishment and growth. He has extensive experience in managing multisports facilities, drafting and implementing standard operating procedures, instituting and managing sports infrastructure in stadiums, universities, and clubs, and organising and participating in international and national sports events.
