Science and Technology exhibition of ISRO and DAE at SRM University- AP

A Science and Technology exhibition that aims to acquaint students with the latest technologies and programmes of ISRO and DAE is planned to be conducted as part of the 88th Annual Meeting of Indian Academy of Sciences hosted by SRM University- AP. Students will get an opportunity to interact with renowned scientists and would be exposed to demonstration models from these reputed institutions.

IGCAR will be participating in the exhibtion with working models of the Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) 700 MW, Fast Breeder Test Reactor (FBTR), Kalpakkam Mini Reactor (KAMINI), Fast Breeder Test Reactor (FBTR) Fuel Pin, Bhabhatron, GC 5000, and Safety Grade Decay Heat Removal (SGDHR) System.

Decade-wise progress of the Department of Atomic Energy and various Activities of DAE will be displayed as Charts. Display panels showcasing the three-stage programme of India’s Nuclear Energy and societal applications of radiation will be put up for display. Spot quizzes will be conducted for the student visitors.

• Videos on the evolution of various technological developments in ISRO and DAE.
• Know the exciting career opportunities available in the esteemed organisations like ISRO, IGCAR, BARC etc.
