Research Interest

  • Agrarian Crisis, Agricultural Developmental crisis, Regional variations in Andhra Pradesh – trends in growth performance of agriculture in three regions, viz., Telangana, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra of United Andhra Pradesh and acreage responses of farmers food and non-foodgrain in the three regions. Institutional forces that are influencing the acreage decisions of farmers in these regions.
  • Significance of Agriculture in India, Challenges facing the agricultural sector, Declining share of agriculture in GDP and Employment, Agricultural Credit in India, Role and share of Institutional and Non institutional sources of finance for agricultural development.
