Dr K Mohan is an innovative and dynamic leader with over three decades of experience in building organisations in Higher Education domain. He has obtained his PhD from The University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India and was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, US. Dr Mohan is responsible for successfully leading many transformational projects at SRM University (multiple campuses across India), Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur deploying systems and processes for smart academic and administrative operations to enhance the overall learning experience, and efficiency. During his tenure as a Regional Manager for West India Operations at the British Council, he actively contributed to the promotion of British Education, Trade and Industry. His brilliance has brought him several recognitions. He was honoured with Exemplary Leadership Award in 2018, by World HRD Congress; IFLA International Marketing Award for 2010; Best implementation award for Higher education in Asia-Pacific “SAP-ACE”, in 2006, by SAP to name a few. He was also mentioned in the 50 Most Influential Knowledge Management Professionals in 2015, by World Education Congress.

At SRMAP, Dr Mohan is responsible for heading the Information Technology and Knowledge Management, handling the entire computing infrastructure, technology services for academic, research and administrative functions, website management, corporate communications and brand building initiatives, including the social media platforms for the university. He shall report to the Vice Chancellor in establishing a technology enabled university.

Dr Mohan is also an avid traveller. He had visited over 20+ countries, to learn the best practices and introduce them back in the institutions he is associated with.
