Dr B Siva Kumar is a seasoned academician with over two decades of experience working at reputed Institutions and Universities in India. With a post-graduate degree in Organic Chemistry, Dr B Siva Kumar went on to obtain a doctoral degree from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India. He worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Photo-Nano Materials, Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu, Japan.

Dr Siva Kumar commenced his academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Sri Venkateswara Post-Graduation College, Kadapa, India, in 2001. His association with SRM Group originated in June 2012 when he decided to be a part of the Department of Chemistry at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. His ties became stronger with his appointment at SRM University-AP in June 2017. His efforts in developing the University since its inception are commendable.

Dr Siva Kumar's contribution to SRM Educational Institutions is diverse. He undertook various positions in academics and management and proved his mettle in every role entrusted to him. Presently, the young and energetic academic is serving SRM University-AP as the Deputy Dean-Academic Affairs.
