    Over 240 students will be taken in BA, BSc, BBA and B.Com courses across 12 disciplines beginning July 2018

    SRM University, AP Amaravati, invites applications for admission to School of Liberal Arts and Basic Sciences(SLABS). Beginning July 2018, over 240 students are likely to be enrolled in B.A, B.B.A, B.Com and B.Sc. The applications for admission will be submitted online on the application portal of SRM AP Amarawati at www.srmap.edu.in

    Starting with one School in 1969, SRM University has rapidly expanded its Schools in the fields of Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science and Humanities, Management, and Law. In 2006, the institute was granted the status of a full-fledged university and has since been known as SRM University. By 2015, the university spread its wings in three different regions by setting up three separate Universities namely SRM University Chennai, SRM University Haryana and SRM University Sikkim. The latest in the group is SRM University, AP – Amaravati, which started operations with three programs in engineering.

  • ROBOFEST – Workshop cum national level championship on “Wi-Fi controlled robots.” February 26, 2018

    SRM- AP and IIT ROORKEE along with FINLAND LABS, REVERT TECHNOLOGY Pvt.Ltd has organized and conducted Two days national level ‘Wi-Fi controlled robot’ workshop cum championship, from 15 to 16 February 2018 in SRM AP campus. This ROBOFEST was all about designing Wi-Fi controlled robots which could perform some elementary and featured functions by using computer software. The workshop was giving a great enthusiasm to all the groups of students, and it was a great boost to daily academics of the students.

  • SRM University and ICF sign MoU to Develop India’s First Hydrogen Fuel Cell Train February 26, 2018

    Prof. D Narayana Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor, SRM University AP Amaravati and B Chandrasekhar, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer, Indian Railways’ Integral Coach Factory,  Chennai has signed a memorandum of understanding to develop fuel cell based train prototype.

    While ICF will manufacture this train, SRM will provide the energy storage systems such as fuel cells, batteries, super capacitors, DC/DC converters and control systems up to DC link.

  • New Honorary Pro-Chancellor for SRM University February 21, 2018

    Date: 21st February 2018, Vijayawada

    Prof. Bertil Andersson, president Emeritus of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), has been appointed as honorary Pro-Chancellor of SRM University, Andhra Pradesh.

    Prof. Andersson also joined as SRM University board of governors. A world renowned plant biochemist from Sweden, he authored more than 300 papers in basic photosynthesis.

    SRM University president Dr. P. Satyanarayanan and others congratulated Prof. Andersson for his appointment.
