Undergraduate Research Opportunities Project (UROP) is an innovative concept which is being offered to all 3 rd year B.Tech-Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) students at SRM University AP. UROP is a mandatory programme for the EEE students so as to engage them in some of the forefront research areas at an early stage of their career. Some of these projects are also being converted to Research publications in renowned international/national Conferences and Journals. Students participate enthusiastically throughout the semester in UROP and gain immense knowledge in core fields. UROP also gives an opportunity for the faculty members to assess the potential of the students whom they are teaching & mentoring. Overall, UROP has lead to an innovative and research environment among all the members of the EEE department. UROP is also rightfully endowed with 3 credits to make it a rewarding experience to the students.
