Our department consists of a dynamic team of approximately 35 faculty members, each with a diverse range of specialisations. Our faculty members hold doctoral degrees from prestigious institutions such as the IITs, HRI, CMI, top Central Universities, and reputed international universities. Many of our faculty also have international teaching and research experience.

We offer a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for academic and professional pursuits. From foundational courses that build core mathematical skills to advanced weekly seminars that delve into cutting-edge research topics, we continuously strive to enhance our mathematics curriculum to ensure educational excellence.

At SRM University-AP, the Mathematics Department offers a variety of programmes designed to cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students. Whether you have a strong passion for pure mathematics, an interest in applied mathematics, or a desire to explore the interdisciplinary nature of mathematics, we have programmes tailored to meet your objectives. Currently, we offer a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics (Honours) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics with specialisations in Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, and Industrial Mathematics. Furthermore, we also provide opportunities for pursuing PhD in Mathematics across a multitude of research areas.
