I have worked on assessing IT and ITES exports, the competitiveness of ITES exports, ITES exports and macroeconomic indicators, and the nexus between ITES exports and economic growth. I am working on trade benchmarks and the economic complexities of international trade.

My primary research interests are agricultural economics, climate change on agriculture, development economics, livelihood issues, poverty and inequality, and health economics. I am currently working on issues related to tenancy and credit from the primary data of Andhra Pradesh.

My main research interests include understanding the process of informalisation in the context of the rise in the new service economy in India and the Global South; examining the influence of public policy on the labour market, in particular, understanding the role of the state in shaping and interacting with socio-economic institutions; and analysing the evolving dynamics of future of work, exploring the altering landscape of labor market processes. In particular, she is interested in looking at how these transformations intersect with identities such as caste, gender, and class.

My areas of research encompass analysing public policy with special reference to social welfare schemes and the preferences of the beneficiaries of the same for cash or in-kind transfers and delving into the political economy of Universal Basic Income. My research involves utilizing panel data and conducting time series analysis.

My primary research interest is in investigating inflation dynamics, its welfare implications and the relationship between inflation and openness. I'm also working on the evolution, conduct and transmission mechanism of monetary policy, especially in the Indian context
