The Department of Biological Sciences, School of Engineering and Sciences, SRM University - AP, Andhra Pradesh, together with the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bengaluru, is organizing a three-day National Conference on “CRISPR/Cas: From Biology to Technology”, iCRISPR-2021, in Virtual Mode. The conference is scheduled for November 25 – 27, 2021. Distinguished speakers from across India will steer the conference with their thoughts, opinions and research in the field of CRISPR/Cas. In addition to creating awareness about the state-of-the art technological and ethical aspects of CRISPR/Cas-based genome editing in India, iCRISPR-2021 will also provide opportunities for scientific exchange and networking. Lastly, on November 24, 2021, a workshop on ”Communicating Science and Crating your Career in Science” will be conducted by IndiaBioscience with support from DBT-Wellcome Trust India Alliance.
