Overview of Conference

The series on the international conference on “Emerging Trends in Optical technologies” at SRM University-AP, India is going start in 2025 in association with Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, University of Tartu Estonia, and National Physical Laboratory, Delhi. This biennial conference is associated with OPTICA and is set up to nurture and promote research and development activities in optical technologies.

Objective of the Conference

The optical technologies have provided promising applications in various fields such as quantum technologies, imaging, and sensing, medical and healthcare, military and defense, astronomy, and space exploration, etc. The emergence of quantum optics technologies, such as quantum key distribution for secure communications and quantum sensors for ultra-sensitive measurements, is poised to revolutionize various industries. The development of new imaging technologies for medical diagnostics have made life easier for many. The primary objective of this conference is to bring together leading researchers, industry experts, and academics to explore and discuss the latest advancements and future directions in optical technologies. Cutting-edge research and applications in fields such as quantum optics, imaging systems, non-linear optics, optical communication, and relevant photonics areas will be discussed. By providing a platform for insightful presentations, and networking opportunities, the conference seeks to drive the development and implementation of novel optical technologies that can address contemporary scientific, industrial, and societal challenges.

  • The papers could be published in special issue (peer-reviewed) of the journal Applied Physics B (Springer) and “IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series”
  • The submitted manuscript will go through the peer review process as per journal norms.
  • We offer invited speakers accommodation in nearby Hotels. There is no registration fee for the invited speakers, and we also provide a half-day tour. Click here for a brief introduction to the half-day tour!
  • For participants, paid accommodation will be provided on a shared basis in the hostel. If the participants want to stay on their own, they can choose what kinds of hotels they want to book from the list on a payment basis.
