The ICAFA-2023 organising committee invites all interested individuals to submit a scientific abstract for poster presentation and oral presentation related to the following themes:
Abstracts from Faculty members will be considered for oral presentations. MSc and PhD students, Postdocs can submit Abstract for Oral or Poster presentation. Only original research work is accepted.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Notification of acceptance for an oral presentation will be sent to the Presenter's e-mail address along with presentation guidelines.
All abstracts will be included in the abstract booklet that will be distributed to conference participants. A certificate will also be provided stating that the participant presented a short talk or a poster.
Importantly, the student’s poster/oral presentations will be reviewed by an expert panel and cash prizes of Rs. 5000/-, Rs. 3000/- and Rs. 2000/- will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners, respectively.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
When submitting your abstract as a word document or pdf during the registration process, please follow the guidelines below:
- Each submission should contain a Title, List of Authors including affiliations, and a Scientific Abstract
- The submitting author should be listed as the First Author
- Word limit of Scientific Abstract - 300 words
- The Abstract should contain an introductory statement that outlines the background and significance of the study followed by a succinct description of the basic methodologies, a clear indication of the major findings of the study and a concluding statement.
- Only one abstract is allowed per submitting author, but the submitting author can be a co-author on another abstract.
