Workshop cum Mini-Symposium on

Partial Differential Equations

Aim of the Programme

The primary objective of the 'Workshop cum Mini-Symposium on PDE' is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of the abstract theory of elliptic partial differential equations. Additionally, it aims to showcase recent advancements in the fields of modeling, analysis, numerical methods, and optimum control of kinetic and partial differential equation (PDE) models. This conference provides a venue for scholars to learn about the most recent findings on PDE applications, explore novel ideas, and foster collaborations in the field

Workshop Focus:

  • Basics of regularity theory of elliptic partial differential equations
  • The syllabus of this workshop has been designed to fill the basic need of newly joined Ph.D. students who are willing to work on partial differential equations or related areas.

Symposium Focus:

  • Various applications of PDE in the field of physics, biology and engineering.
  • Provide a bridge among researchers to use abstract mathematics in the allied field.

The Programme consists of three 90-minute lectures each day, followed by a 60-minute tutorial.

How to Rearch SRM University-AP

The SRM University, Andhra Pradesh campus is located between the twin cities Vijayawada and Guntur. It can be reached from various parts of the country in several way

By Rail

Those coming from other states of India by train, should get down at the Vijayawada Railway Station (railway code: BZA), which is well-connected with almost all parts of the country. One can also use the Guntur Railway Station (code: GNT). From the stations, you may get a taxi to reach SRM University.

By Air

The nearest airport is the Vijayawada International Airport (IATA: VGA) is about 45km from campus. You may take a taxi from the airport to reach SRM University.

By Air

Buses operated by APSRTC from Pandit Nehru Bus Station (Vijayawada) and NTR Bus Station (Guntur) connect the University city
