Continuing with SRM Group’s tradition of providing funding support to the students, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh, is offering scholarships to the deserving candidates in the following categories.

Scholarships offered by the University:

A. Merit Scholarship
B. Economic Scholarship
C. Scholarship for SAT1/SAT2
D. Scholarship for SRMJEEE.

A. Merit Scholarship (applicable only for UG Programmes):

The Scholarships are based on merit and range between 50 – 100 % tuition fee waiver for students joining the University as a full- time degree-seeking student.

As per the scholarship norms, 100% tuition fee waiver is awarded for the candidate score of 90% and above in the relevant subjects, 75% tuition fee waiver for candidate score of 80 to 89% in the relevant subjects and 50% tuition fee waiver for the candidate score of 70 to 79% in the relevant subjects. This merit scholarship is applicable only for the first year. In the subsequent years the merit scholarship is renewed, if the candidate scores 8 CGPA with 80% attendance.

If the Eligibility Committee seeks grade equivalence, in such cases the responsibility lies with the candidate to submit the grade equivalence signed by the authorized signatory from the concerned school. Based on the same, scholarship will be approved. The decision of Eligibility Committee is final and binding.

1) For courses like BA(English, Psychology, Economics, Journalism and History), B.Sc(Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science) and BBA- overall percentage will be considered for CBSE, for boards other than CBSE any three subjects as per the above mentioned band will be considered.

2) Marks scored in the language subjects will not be considered for scholarship.

3) This merit scholarship is applicable only for the first year. In subsequent years the merit scholarship is renewed, if the candidate scores 8 CGPA with 80% attendance.

B. Economic Scholarship (Applicable for both UG & PG Programs)

Economic Scholarships of 50% tuition fee waiver on the annual tuition fee is awarded for students from Africa, Iraq, Iran, Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia & SAARC countries.

Teaching Assistantships (TA) for Masters and Research Assistantship (RA) for PhD are awarded through the departments based on academic merit. To be considered for assistantship you must apply separately.

C. Scholarships for Undergraduate Programmes based on SAT and SAT Subject Tests (Applicable for NRI/PIO/OCI cardholders only):

All B Tech Programmes

[Domestic Fee Rs 2,50,000 per year]

SAT Overall Aggregate of 1100 to 1300 are eligible for 75% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee and for 1300 to 1600 are eligible for 100% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee or SAT Subject Tests in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Level 1 (or) Mathematics Level 2, an aggregate of 1500 to 2000 are eligible for 75% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee and 2000 of 2400 are eligible for 100% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee. This is applicable through all 4 years.

Management - BBA (Hons.)

[Domestic fee of Rs.2,50,000/- per year]

SAT Overall Aggregate of 1100 to 1300 are eligible for 75% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee and for 1300 to 1600 are eligible for 100% tuition fee waiver on Domestic. This is applicable through all 3 Years.

All BA (Hons.) and B.Sc (Hons.) Program

[Domestic fee of Rs.1,50,000/- per year]

SAT Overall Aggregate of 1100 to 1300 are eligible for 75% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee and for 1300 to 1600 are eligible for 100% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee. This is applicable through all 3 Years.

Note: SAT results to be provided before the enrollment to consider for scholarship.

D. SRMJEEE Scholarships (For NRI/PIO/OCI Candidates):

[Domestic Fee Rs 2,50,000 per year]

NRI/PIO/OCI candidates can also apply for the common entrance SRMJEEE. Based on the SRMJEEE counselling norms, the candidates will be eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver on Domestic fee. This is applicable through all 4 Years.

In case, the candidate does not get the desired course during counselling, they can apply under direct International admissions for the course of their choice.
