Experimental investigation of Heat transfer and Fluid flow in Monodisperse and Bi-disperse Porous media.
Experimental study of Heat Transfer Enhancement using IR(Infra-Red) thermography technique in Porous media packed channels with fluid flows having higher Prandtl number.
Thermal Energy Storage (T.E.S) capability of channels with randomly packed particles and comparison with analytical solutions.
Experimental study of Fluid flow characteristics of Monodisperse Porous media.
Further intending to explore Granular flows, Understanding biological flows using the Porous media approach, Cooling of electronics equipment (passive methods) and Turbulent flows.
I am also interested to explore the application of CFD methods for getting insights on flow fields inside the porous media using commercially available / open source codes such as FLUENT / OPENFOAM etc. leading to numerical validation of the experimentally obtained results.
