Experience

  • March 2005 - June 2016 – Assistant Professor – Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
  • February 2002 - March 2005 - Project Fellow - Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India

Research Interest

  • My general research interests lie in the area of scheduling on multi-processor and cloud environment, which exists at the intersection of computer architecture, operating system, theoretical computer science and machine learning. In particular, a unifying theme of my research is the development of new scheduling algorithms for efficient resource management in cloud environment. In particular, my research focus on solving one of the fundamental issues of the cloud system i.e. improving the efficiency of the scheduling approaches considering different well defined system and application parameters.
