Entrepreneurial Summit: ADITRI 2025

SRM University-AP is all set to host the entrepreneurial summit, ADITRI, on May 03, 2025. ADITRI, which stands for Advancing Development and Transformation in Rural India, is a CSR project patroned by the varsity and is dedicated to supporting and empowering rural women entrepreneurs. The summit will witness the participation of 2,500+ rural women across six mandals in Andhra Pradesh.
Guntur MP and Minister of State for Rural Development & Communications, Dr Chandra Shekhar Pemmasani, will inaugurate the event. ADITRI has helped 100 women entrepreneurs to launch their ventures, thereby driving self-reliance, inclusive development, and rural transformation. The varsity aspires to tackle the challenges of financial instability, lack of job opportunities and limited access to education faced by women from rural settings. ADITRI blends skill-building and cultural preservation, addressing critical gaps in resources, mentorship, and market access.
The summit will not only witness the launch of the ventures but also 15 live stalls from these women entrepreneurs selling their wares. To launch these ventures, SRM University-AP has invested rupees one crore in machinery and forty lakhs in services in the form of grassroot outreach, mentoring sessions, entrepreneurial bootcamps, hands-on product training, licensing compliances, market presence and digital marketing support.
Platforms such as ADITRI are crucial in fostering change and contributing to socio-economic development, going vocal for local and raising sustainable ventures that are women-centric could boost the nation’s economy and contribute greatly towards its development.
