Overview

The ACCMS-GRC is an inter/multi-disciplinary centre. The primary motivations of this center are as follows:

  • To foster and advance SRM University-AP as a research-oriented institution that embraces true interdisciplinary collaboration in alignment with the mission of SRM AP.
  • To establish a dedicated platform within the university for interdisciplinary research in the areas of computational research

Who can use

All students, research scholars and faculty across the University can access the HPCC facilities at ACCMS-GRC.

Our Mission

  • Promote the advancement of computational materials science across Asian countries.
  • Support research and innovation in materials modelling, simulation, and AI/ML-driven materials discovery.
  • Develop and disseminate advanced computational methodologies such as DFT, molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo, and machine learning approaches.
  • Foster collaboration between theorists, experimentalists, and data scientists to accelerate the discovery and design of novel materials.
  • Strengthen education, training, shared computational resources, and international partnerships in computational materials science.

    • Materials Genome Project for Energy (Prof. Ranjit, Dr Debabrata, Dr Ashu Abdul, Dr Mahesh and Dr Baswanth)
    • Design and Development of Photo-functional Materials (Prof. Ranjit, Dr Mahesh and Dr Baswanth)
    • Natural Language Generation for Medical Applications (in collaboration with SRM Technologies and AIIMS, Mangalagiri) (Dr Ashu Abdul)
    • Modelling Protein and Biomacromolecule Interactions and Developing Algorithm and Databases related Bioinformatics (Dr Nagabhushana Rao and Dr Debabrata)
    • Development of Open-source Softwares for Computational Fluid Dynamics (Dr Sathya Pramod Jammy)
