SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering (SRMJEEE) 2019 is a joint entrance examination for admission to B.Tech degree programmes offered in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM University Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University –AP and Sonepet Campus of SRM University – Haryana

Eligibility for Programs offered under SRM University – AP, Amaravati are as below:Kashmir migrants are eligible for relaxation in eligibility for admission subject to minimum eligibility requirements as per UGC.Eligibility for B.Tech Programs (Duration: 4 years)
(a) Nationality and Age
Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).
Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who has not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.
Should have attained the age of 16 + on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held (source).
(b) Qualifying Examination:
All B.Tech programmes :
Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM
(i) Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS
(ii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in any International schools within India
(c) SRMJEEE (UG) 2019
Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the SRMJEEE (UG) are eligible for all the B.Tech. degree programs
(d) Direct Admission
SRM University – AP, Amaravati does not offer direct admissions to the students. 100% of the seats are on merit basis as per the marks secured in SRMJEEE 2019

Selection procedure:
- Candidates will be invited for counselling session based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE (UG)
- One or more counselling sessions will be held depending on the vacancy of seats.
- Candidates can choose their preferred specialization/branch of study in a particular campus based on
(a) Merit List based on Score obtained.
(b) fulfilling the programme-specific eligibility criteria for a particular campus
(c) subject to the availability of seats at that point of time. - Upon selection of specialization/branch full tuition fees and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counselling
- Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate’s admission.
