Pre-Offer Placements

PPO stands for Pre-Placement Offer while PPI is Pre-Placement Interview. Most candidates take up summer internships during their course of study. In PPO, the candidate (former intern) is given a job offer by the organisation before the Institution Placement Drive happens or during the placement process. Based on the rankings, job description and compensation are offered, the participating companies are scheduled, during which they can initiate the recruitment process. A pre-placement offer or PPO, post the summer internship, is a much cherished job offer before final placements.
